Free VCP5 Exam Voucher with VMware vSphere: What’s New 5

Have a VCP3? Want a VCP5? VMware is giving away free VCP5 vouchers if you take take the What’s New 5 course between January 16 and February 24, 2012.
VCP4 holders don’t need a class if you pass before March 1st and if you don’t hold a cert you need to take ICM or another qualifying course (“New” isn’t one of them) so this is primarily for the VCP3 holders.

Note also you must register to take the exam on or before February 29, 2012 using your free voucher – so you don’t have a lot of time to ramp up, but it is a free test.

Also – I received this information in a Partner email – I don’t see evidence of it online so double-check when you register!

I do not know of any current specials. Partners get a 20% discount on training but that does not apply to certifications.

However – you need to pass your VCP5 before March 1 or you will need to pay to take the What’s New class and the test in order to become a VCP5.
