VCP6-NV, VCP6-DTM, VCP6-CMA are released

The rest of the VCP-level exams updated for Version 6 have released.

VCP6-CMA (Cloud)
VCP6-NV (Networking)
VCP6-DTM (Desktop)

The exams for the most part are just the latest version of their corresponding existing exam minus most of the vSphere content.

Existing VCP-NV acheivers will become VCP6-NV
Existing VCP6-DT certification holders will become VCP6-DTM
Existing VCP6-Cloud grantees will become VCP6-CMA

There is no Delta exam for these tracks, if you have VCP4-DT and want to upgrade or have VCP-NV and want to join the desktop revolution you take the same exam – 2V0-651.

For those new to VMware VCP certifications, or those after May 8 who have let their certification expire, the Foundation exam will be required before the “silo” exam to become certified in addition to the training requirement.

All have been released as Delta exams, open for existing VCP-holders. If you don’t have a VCP and are interested you’ll need to pass the Foundation first – please let me know if you are allowed to sign up for the Delta of the “6” exams!
